Pasar Ular Permai might easily mean ‘snake market’ in Indonesian but don’t let it deceive you. Located on Jalan Yos Sudarso in North Jakarta is a fusion of many small stalls that sell a variety of goods. Some products are export quality and to get a great purchase, you need good bargaining skills at hand. Here, you will find various products from jeans, cheap shoes, and perfume to ceramic urns and kitchen utensils.

Two different places are named after ‘Pasar Ular’. The first is the older complex in North Jakarta’s Pelumpang Area and the second is the newer one in North Jakarta’s Permai area.
